We have a small base of individual donors. Is ArtDOG right for us?

Yes! You can use ArtDOG as a way to educate new donors about what you do. Engage your board, partners, staff, and volunteers to help you with outreach.

Do all funds have to be raised on that day to count?

We think it is important to build engagement and excitement leading up to the day. We encourage you to promote giving once your site page is live. Encouraging your regular donors to give to ArtDOG, rather than just a general donation can increase the dollars you receive from the bonus pool.

No, there is no limit to the amount a nonprofit can receive.

What if I don’t reach my goal?

When you take on a big goal, one risk you run is that you won’t achieve it. Consider your tolerance for this when planning. Our advice is to set an ambitious goal. If you miss, learn from it, celebrate what you did achieve, and plan for the next ArtDOG based on your experience.
