Memorandum of Understanding
I understand that as a partner in the Art Day of Giving, I will attending training sessions; create a profile page on ICTArtDOG.org; post an ArtDOG link on my organization's website; set a fundraising goal and publicize that goal to my organization's stakeholders; seek and track Champion funds, if possible, beyond those secured by the Wichita Community Foundation; identify volunteers, Board members and supporters to be fundraisers for my organization; broadcast news about ArtDOG using existing communication vehicles; use social media to publicize my organization's participation in ArtDOG; and send thank you notes to donors supporting my organization on ArtDOG.
I understand the Wichita Community Foundation is not responsible for the amount of money that may or may not be contributed to my organization during the 24-hour event on April 29, 2016. I understand that donors must choose the nonprofit they are giving to when making an online gift, and that the Wichita Community Foundation has no control over this selection process.
Wichita Community Foundation's ICTArtDOG.org site, plus Champion funds and offline donations reported in a specific time frame set by the Wichita Community Foundation will count toward the Bonus Pool distribution.
I understand that the Wichita Community Foundation will not charge my nonprofit organization for registering or participating in the Art Day of Giving. All promotions outside of those provided to my organization via WCF will be my organization's responsibility.
I understand that, if possible, my organization will stage an event(s) on April 29, 2016, in a place where people gather to showcase the arts and draw attention to ArtDOG.
I understand that if I am asked to participate in an interview with a media outlet, I am to be a spokesperson on behalf of all arts organizations in my community that are participating in ArtDOG.
I understand that the Wichita Community Foundation will solicit its donors and area corporations to raise money for the ArtDOG Bonus Pool. I further understand that Foundation donors may elect to direct their charitable gift to a named arts organization.
I understand that within 30 days of April 29, 2016, monies contributed to my organization through online donations, as well as Bonus Pool and prize incentives, will be disbursed via check by the Wichita Community Foundation to my organization.
