Sloppy Joe Improv Troupe will provide improv workshops open to the public. Join the Joe's for a night of improv and learn a few of our tips and tricks to performing an improv scene.
The Newman University Art Club will sponsor a sidewalk chalk contest. The theme? ArtDOG. The catch? Quantity vs. quality. Submissions must include an ArtDOG with the hashtag '#ArtDOG.' Both the student who creates the most and best ArtDOG rendering(s) will receive a gift certificate to Scooter's. Students may work in teams but only one prize will be given per category. Students are asked to submit their work via Twitter with #ArtDOG. Contest will begin in Founder's Plaza, but will be extended to the entirety of campus.
Come join the Newman University Theatre Club for a night of short plays. "Tangled Up in Blue" and "The Folder" will be performed by Newman University students and staff. There will also be pizza!

We're planning a Party for the Planet to celebrate Earth Day and Wichita Art Day of Giving! This FREE environmental fair gives everyone the opportunity to learn how to protect and care for the world we live in. With hands-on activities and interactive exhibits, there are many learning opportunities for children. Activities are geared towards third through fifth grade.
The Newman University Art Club will sponsor another splatter paint event on campus. Only this time, instead of individual pieces, students will work together to create a mural that will be displayed in the De Mattias Fine Arts Center hallway during Final Friday.
